SureMatters

For independent and state schools · Education Conference 2026

Forensic quality, fast. Minutes per Matter, not hours.

Most of the speed in disclosure preparation is lost between Matter open and first triage decision. The records have to land in one place; the scope has to be authored; the obvious-include and obvious-exclude piles have to clear so the operator's attention lands on the actual judgement calls. SureMatters compresses that opening hour into minutes — without sending a single document to a third-party AI service.

Where the speed comes from

  • Scope is a contract, not a conversation. A plain-text scope file the operator can read, edit, and version. Categories and Exclusions seed from a School SAR template that ships at launch.
  • Matter-preparation companion (private pilot). SurePrepare prepares the documents before redaction, on your own computer. Apply via the contact form.
  • Keyboard-first redaction. Redact r, keep k, undo u, dismiss d, next page ]. No mouse round-trips. No modal interruptions.
  • One-click disclosure pack. Manifest, decisions log, redaction certificate, redacted PDF. Bundled. Ready for the data subject.

Where the quality comes from

  • Pixel-level forensic redaction. Each page becomes an image; the redaction burns in. No text under the box. No hidden layer carrying the original. The famous "copy-paste under the black box" failure mode does not happen here.
  • Tamper-evident audit log. Every operator decision logged with timestamp, identity, and before / after state. Entries cannot be edited or deleted; tampering is detectable. The pack the ICO sees is the pack the operator built.
  • Operator-final-decision, always. No setting enables autonomous redaction. The decisions log structurally cannot record a redaction that wasn't made by a human.

Independent or state — the same tool.

Independent and state schools run the same disclosure caseload — subject access requests, complaints, and safeguarding disclosures — against the same deadlines. SureRedact handles it the same way for both, with the same trust commitments: forensic redaction, a tamper-evident audit log, and every decision the operator's.

If you're at the British Library on 14 October

We're attending, not exhibiting. By October, SureRedact 1.0 has been out since 17 June; SurePrepare pilot applications are open, with the first cohort forming from autumn 2026. Professional is sold by direct enquiry — we email you a signed licence key, and schools can pay by Purchase Order. If the page lands, share the URL with a peer; apply for the pilot via the contact form with topic Pilot.

Not exhibiting, but here for the conversation.

We attend, listen, and recruit pilots from the operators we meet.
