Supporting school business professionals · ISBL National Conference 2027
Per-user pricing. Unlimited Matters. The MAT economics work because we built them to.
A single LA-maintained primary uses one seat. A 5-school MAT runs three
seats in central operations. A 30-school MAT runs ten, fifteen or twenty
across schools and central office. No per-school lock-in. No per-Matter
pricing. No surprise renewal uplift because your trust grew. The price you
see is the price your CFO signs off — 1, 3 or 5 years.

The MAT-economics ladder
Single school
One SBM/SBL with occasional SAR caseload. SureRedact Free
(unlimited PDF redaction) often covers it. When the records arrive
in Word / Excel / email, SureRedact Professional at
£499 / user / year + VAT adds file-format breadth and the full disclosure
pack. Enquire about SureRedact Professional →
MAT / trust scale
Central operations team plus school-level SBMs.
SureRedact Professional seats per operator;
honour-system fair-use on device count per seat — no hard caps
that get in the way. SurePrepare, our matter-preparation
companion, is in private pilot — apply via the
contact form.
No allowance. No Matter-count gating. No Test Matters mechanism. Your
SureRedact seats let you work across as many SARs, FOIs, EIRs,
complaints, and other disclosure Matters as you need. The pricing is
per user, not per Matter. Per-pupil counts, per-school counts, and
per-trust counts don't change the bill. When the trust grows, you add
seats; you don't renegotiate a Matter quota.
Procurement at MAT scale
Pay by Invoice / PO. NET 30 default. BACS via Xero. Annual cadence. Standard public-sector procurement pattern.
Public trust pack. AI Policy, Security overview, Telemetry Transparency, Subprocessors list, and Vulnerability Disclosure are public and pending legal review, each carrying its own version and date; designed to clear MAT-level due diligence in one working day.
Consistent with the Academy Trust Handbook. Audit trails, named decision-makers, defensible retention — built in by default.
Honour-system fair-use. Device count per seat is a soft check; no hard caps blocking workflow. Renewal-time conversation if device count substantially exceeds seat count.
If you're at the ISBL National Conference on 25–26 February
We're attending, not exhibiting. By the conference SureRedact has been
shipping since last summer and the SurePrepare pilot has been running.
Professional is sold by direct enquiry, with Pay by PO for schools and
trusts. A further pilot cohort is forming
for the spring term. Apply via the contact form;
share the URL with your peers — an SBM/SBL or trust CFO — if it resonates
with you.
